Tastings
Tastings among Olive Trees and Vineyards
Discovering the Maremma Toscana also means tasting it.
At Agricoccinella we organize olive oil, wine and local product tastings to introduce our land through its most authentic flavours.
An immersive food and wine experience surrounded by nature, ancient olive trees, vineyards and the scents of the countryside.
A Journey through the Flavours of Tuscany
Every tasting is a story: from olive to oil, from grape to wine, from the garden to the preserves we prepare in our farm kitchen.
We will guide you through a sensory experience that celebrates territory, tradition and organic farming, with guided tastings and explanations of the artisanal processes that make our products unique.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting
Our olive oil experience begins among the olive trees: here you will discover traditional Tuscan varieties — Frantoio, Leccio, Moraiolo — and learn how to recognize the characteristics of a true organic Tuscan extra virgin olive oil.
A guided tasting will reveal the aromas, intensity and nuances of our EVO oil, cold-pressed within hours of harvesting.
Organic Wine Tasting
Our organic Agricoccinella wines express the elegance and simplicity of the Maremma.
During the tasting you will sample our Agricoccinella Rosso (Merlot & Sangiovese), our fresh and fragrant Rosato, and our Mediterranean-style Vermentino.
Each glass is paired with boards of cold cuts, cheeses and homemade preserves from our farm.
Our Winemaker
Marco Giuntoli – a craftsman of rural tradition and innovative research – is the winemaker behind Agricoccinella wines.
Roots and passion: everything began among the vines, with the vivid memory of his great-grandfather marvelling at the first destemmer, and with the lesson learned in the family kitchen: wine is more than a drink — it is culture, art, and the soul of the Italian table.
A “stolen” training: after studying viticulture and enology in Pisa, Marco trained in major Tuscan wineries such as Caparzo, Biserno and Campo alla Sughera. Knowledge did not come easily — he built it with determination, learning in the field and studying every evening.
A distinctive philosophy: this independence shaped a creative, bold approach. His mission is to craft wines that are fresh yet structured, balanced yet characterful, always respecting the vintage and the grape variety.
Local Product & Preserve Tasting
For lovers of authentic flavours, we offer a tasting dedicated to traditional Tuscan products: vegetables in oil, caponata, eggplant creams, jams and fruit juices made with ingredients harvested from our fields.
Each tasting is a tribute to seasonality and the richness of the land.
Tailor-Made Experiences
Our on-farm tastings are available year-round and can be customized for small groups, families or couples.
You can combine them with guided farm tours, walks through the vineyards, or sunset aperitifs under the olive trees.
On request, we also organize private tastings for events and team building.
Times and Reservations
Tastings are available by reservation, Monday to Sunday, in the afternoon or at sunset.
In summer you can also join our themed evenings with live music and tasting menus featuring our farm products.
